BRIDGITISE

Industrial Doctoral Network on Bridge Digitalised Integrity Management

Maria Pina LIMONGELLI (docente coordinatore), Pier Francesco GIORDANO

The PhD network BRIDGITISE focuses on the process of digitizing and managing bridges throughout the whole life cycle, with the development of innovative approaches. Excellence requires the development and on-site validation of technologies to process the information and its use in decision support. A network of 15+1 PhDs is structured around three research and training areas: – low-cost, large-scale, automated technologies for collecting information; – the use of AI and IoT to process and share information; – digital decision support tools. The project includes 6 universities, a research center and 17 companies and end users, which will provide case studies to apply and validate the results, fostering technology transfer. This combination of skills will increase cross-sectoral employability, building competitive capacity in a strategic market. The results of the BRIDGITISE project will be technology-enhanced training and dissemination tools, international workshops and training schools. In addition, an open platform for data sharing will be built.
