The EcoAcoustics project saw the creation of a supply chain between companies and research institutes capable of working synergistically to research and develop new products to be introduced into the architectural acoustics market. In particular, the supply chain has made it possible to combine the characteristics of the products of the two companies involved and to develop adaptive acoustic panels, capable of combining high acoustic performance within the principles of environmental sustainability and Smart Living.
DABC role
The DABC-based research group has broadened its knowledge of technological systems for architectural acoustics by scientifically investigating their limits and potential applications. In addition, it has been able to orientate its lines of research towards a market in continuous search for innovative and sustainable materials.
