Martin Rutzinger

is Associate Professor at the Department of Geography at the University of Innsbruck and head of the Remote Sensing & Topographic LiDAR Research Group. In his research he focuses on automated mapping of environmental processes in mountain areas related to scientific questions in geomorphology, vegetation analysis, and natural hazard research. He works on information extraction, object detection, semantic classification, change detection and time series analysis using earth observation techniques integrating 3D close-range and remote sensing information.
