The project aimed at increasing the attractiveness of the Bregaglia-Valchiavenna-Moesa-Ticino area by promoting an innovative strategy for the use of its natural and cultural resources.
Acting in a common historical and landscape context, it has created a geo-cultural route with a scientific-divulgative character, pivoting on the new Great Alpine Landslides Cross-border Centre of Valchiavenna. The route, which has received impetus from the 400th anniversary of the mega landslide that struck Piuro in 1618 with its 1,200 inhabitants, links together various points of interest (including Cengalo, Cauco, Biasca, Chironico, Anzonico, Airolo Sasso rosso, Peccia, Campo Valle Maggia) equipped with specific installations, and offers a reconstruction of disasters of exceptional interest for Alpine tourism, which it addresses by exploiting the potential offered by social networks.

• Laser scanner and photogrammetric surveys, data processing.
• Production of DTM and large-scale DSM models to support the knowledge framework for the management of risks threatening the cultural and natural heritage.
• Scientific mediation exploiting applications of new technologies for the valorisation and promotion of the natural and cultural heritage.
