Roberto Dulio


ICAR/18 - History of architecture

Roberto Dulio obtained in 1998 a Bachelor degree at Facoltà di Architettura of Politecnico di Milano. In 2003 he completed a Ph.D in History of architecture and urbanistic at  Facoltà di Architettura of Politecnico di Torino. In april 2004 he was assigned a two year post doctorate research grant from Facoltà di Architettura of Politecnico di Milano, with the sponsorhip of Fondazione Piero Portaluppi. From september 2005 he has been teaching History of architecture at the Facoltà di Architettura of Politecnico di Milano. In september 2008 he became researcher at same Faculty and the post was renewed on a permanent basis in 2011. From March 2019 he is Associate professor. His studies are mainly focused on modern and contemporary architecture, with special attention on the relation with art and photography. He curated exhibitions, published essays and articles on history of contemporary architecture. He was editor of the review «L’architettura cronache e storia» and writes for reviews of architecture such as «Casabella» and «Domus».
