Maria Pilar Vettori

Maria Pilar Vettori (Parma, 1968) graduated in Architecture at Politecnico di Milano in 1992. PhD in Technical Innovation and Design in Architecture she carries out didactic, research and design activity with particular focus on the relationship between technologies and feasibility of architecture.

She has been teaching at the School of Architecture of Politecnico di Milano in the field of technological design for architecture. Inside the didactic activity she also has been visiting professor in other universities in Italy and abroad.

As architect she worked in the field of architectural and technological design applied at different scales, urban, architectural, and technological.

In her studies on the relationship between technologies and constructability of architecture she took part to research programs concerning processes, methods and approaches for programming, designing, construction and management of the built environment. In particular the filed of her research concerns the innovation strategies inside design and production processes of facilities and infrastructures for health and wellness, sport, research and production. Oh these topics, held with particular concern to the territorial development policies and urban regeneration strategies, she took part to conferences, seminars and workshops as well as worked to publications and essays.
