Marco Imperadori

Full professor in the Politecnico di Milano, he teaches Design and Technological Innovation in the Construction Engineering and Architecture Faculty. 

He is a delegate for the Chancellor of the Politecnico di Milano for the Far East. 

Activities of research and teaching centred on integration and interdependency between architecture and constructive technologies, in particular on the innovation of construction processes based on dry assembly techniques, light multi-layered dry buildings and new methods of conceiving buildings in terms of design: project, product and process. 

He has published books and articles for trade journals in Italy and abroad, where he was invited to conventions and conferences on themes of sustainability and energy saving.

He is a member of the International Scientific Committee of the Climate House Agency in Bolzano, of the Sustainable Construction Commission of Steel Promotion and represents the Politecnico di Milano in the Active House Alliance and Android European research networks. He is a member of the Fondazione Pesenti Board of Directors.  

Since 1999 to 2016 he was an owner of Atelier2 (Valentina Gallotti and Marco Imperadori Associati) in Milan, where he applied experiments and academic research in the design processes, winning national and international awards and mentions.
