Associate Professor of Building Technology at the Architecture, Built Environment and Construction Engineering Dept (ABC) at Politecnico di Milano.
She is delegate for Expo2020 Dubai.
She is coordinator of the technical committee of SAPERLab, Laboratory dABC.
She is CIB member, Task Group 119 in Customized Industrial Construction and of the IIMCP network on Mass-customization.

The research activity is charactherized by a constant interest in deepening the role of technical innovation in architecture with a particular emphasis on advanced construction methods. A special interest is focused on the role of innovative technologies and tools to combine design and production. She also coordinates the research group Actlab at the Department.

She has written several books including Una finestra sul trasferimento.
