LSPA

The Architectural Design Support Laboratory is primarily a service structure, addressing the needs for IT and tooling support for architectural design activities, research and for all related scientific fields.
Its experience and knowledge are aimed at the design and drawing of architecture (both on an urban and territorial scale and in terms of buildings), at surveying and representation, and at graphic communication for publishing, web, exhibitions and displays.

It is aimed at scientific, didactic and design studies carried out by teachers, researchers and undergraduates of the Department in the fields of architectural and urban composition and design, construction aspects, history of architecture, restoration, urban planning, drawing, surveying and representation of architecture.
LSPA has the necessary equipment and expertise to cover all stages of original acquisition, two-dimensional drawing, graphics and layout, database correlation and large format printing.

Services offered

  • Assistance with architectural design, using computerised drawing, three-dimensional visualisation and multimedia editing, and support for the creation of plastic models;
  • Multimedia, photographic, graphic design, layout and printing for: exhibition design; editorial publications; two- and three-dimensional animations; website creation;
  • Training, through the Lab’s own computerised drawing courses in a fully equipped classroom.
