The course is co-organized by the Department of Architecture, Built environment and Construction engineering (DABC) and the Real Estate Center of DABC – Polimi. The course targets practitioners. It will be open also to researchers and students, both national and international, that participate in the last week of the Summer School on Workplace Management, 4th edition (2021). The course proposes theoretical lessons and case histories on the implementation of innovative workplace strategies, providing evidence of work performance, psycho-physical wellbeing of users, as well as an increase in relations and socialisation among users themselves.
The Aim
The aim of the course is to train participants, through various testimonials and theoretical lessons, on the issues of workplace management in corporate context. In particular, the design and planning of the office space based on the work activities carried out by users and their needs, shows a significant increase in productivity and relative satisfaction for both the individual and the company.
Prerequisites
The course is mainly aimed at professionals, both designers and architechts and company employees, who want to learn through concrete testimonies and theoretical lessons how the discipline of workplace management in corporate office spaces can improve the working quality of the individual and the community.
