The patented element is part of a vision for technological and typological innovation in the construction sector, aimed at reducing environmental impacts, shortening time process, and improving service quality. PROXIMA materializes as a modular hybrid architecture integrated with a digital management and control platform throughout the entire lifecycle of the building.
The patent focuses on modularizing components with shorter lifecycles, making it possible to produce them off-site, by identifying standardization criteria and specific dimensions that create opportunities for large-scale production. This maximizes system efficiency and allows for more frequent and less invasive typological adjustments compared to the traditional models. In order to improve from Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 3 to TRL 5, the goal is to create a functional prototype in a real context, such as a living module (living device).
