INCASe has developed a device (HW and SW) for the recharging of electric vehicles at low cost, perfectly integrated in a modular building component/building envelope, suitable for new constructions, building renovations or performance improvement. The component is able to provide support and maintenance of a technical compartment for connections and is prepared to relate to other facade components equipped with additional and supplementary services.
DABC role
The ABC department carried out the following activities:
• typological analysis of the building context at the scale of the neighbourhood under study;
• technological analysis and potential for integration into a technical building envelope element for the building context analysed;
• realisation of the prototype.
