The main research interests are in the field of the mechanical behaviour of composite materials reinforced with long fibres and textiles. In the last decade, the application of composite materials as internal reinforcement of concrete structural components is another field of investigation.
Many of the publications are dedicated to the experimental measurement and numerical prediction of the mechanical properties of textile composites and textile reinforcements, as well as to the experimental investigation of FRP reinforced concrete.
