Federico Acuto

ICAR/21 - Urban design and landscape

Born in Florence in 1964 and degree in Architecture in 1992 with summa cum laude at Milan Polytechnic, Faculty of Architecture. Specialization course in Control and Management of Urban traffic in 1993. Within the Department he has been working on urban and regional planning; infrastructure planning and urban design. As member of the Department of Architectural Design (now and Department of Architecture, Built Environment and Civil Engineering at Polytechnic of Milan) and owner of Masteplanstudio, Mr. Acuto has been working on urban and regional planning; infrastructure planning and urban design, with special regard to negotiation process and collaborative planning, budget and cost assessment, as following (recents): Town Plan of Costa Volpino (10.000 inh) Town Plan of Pisogne (8.000 inh), in Lombardia Region (Northern Italy), from 2007 to date; Town Plan of Busnago (5.500 inh.), Lombardia Region (Northern Italy), 2006 to 2009; Project for the tourist development of the east coast of Iseo Lake (25.000 inh), Lombardia Region (Northern Italy), 2006-2009; General Traffic Plan of Trezzo sull’Adda (11.000 inh), Lombardia Region (Northern Italy), 2006; Masterplan for housing development in Nerviano city, Lombardia Region (Northern Italy), 2005; General Traffic Plan of Buccinasco (27.000 inh), Lombardia Region (Northern Italy), 2005; Feasibility Study of The Crossing (Road And Railway Bridge) in Trezzo sull’Adda – Lombardia Region (Northern Italy), 2004; Project of the “Piano d’Area” (Area Plan) of Sebino Bresciano – Lombardia Region (Northern Italy), 2003; Re-Use Programme of The Areas near Malpensa Airport – Lombardia Region (Northern Italy), 2003.
