VeluxLab

pattern
VeluxLab is the first Active House built in Italy: a demonstration and experimental building designed to test and teach innovative solutions in the fields of sustainability, natural light and ventilation. Located inside the Bovisa Campus, the laboratory is a real test facility equipped with advanced sensors and digital platforms. The research focuses on comfort, energy efficiency and environmental quality, with a strong applied and interdisciplinary approach. The activities are developed in collaboration with companies and partners in the sector, who find in the VeluxLab a space to test new technological solutions for construction. The laboratory integrates design, services and control systems thanks to the use of BIM 6D (sustainability) and BIM 7D (digital twin and cognitive building) platforms. The research team is made up of professionals, teachers, researchers, doctoral students and students.
