The CR2 Sinapsi project is a rehabilitation and recreation center for children with disabilities, located in the Morbasco Park in Cremona. From the preliminary stages, the complexity of the project required the constant collaboration of the VELUXlab team, which provided support in defining the envelope technologies and design strategies, aimed not only at maximizing energy performance but also the well-being of users.
The team activity focused on supporting the design of the entire building, supporting designers in defining envelope technologies through building performance simulation activities and verification via the Active House protocol. In the definitive phase, he focused on the validation of the proposed solutions through finite element thermal simulations, on the definition of the compositional layout of the external cladding, and on the creation of full-scale samples to test the installation phases.
