Faculty Development for Innovative Teaching
The numerous training initiatives aimed at the teaching staff are intended to support the continuous evolution of teaching practices. These programs promote the adoption of innovative, interactive, and participatory methodologies, while also providing useful tools for the effective communication of scientific research outcomes.
Positions for Teachers and Researchers
The scientific community of the Department includes more than 180 faculty members and over 100 research fellows, engaged in advanced and interdisciplinary education and research activities, within an innovative and international environment.
Open positions and collaboration opportunities can be found on the dedicated University webpage.
Visiting Professor and fellows
The Department of Architecture, Construction Engineering, and the Built Environment hosts visiting professors and fellows from around the world, aiming to strengthen the international dimension of its research activities.
Visiting guests preferably work in the fields of architecture, construction engineering, and the study of the built environment, in line with the Department’s main research areas.
More information can be found at this University link.
NEST Project
The NEST project is an initiative to internationalize the research activities of the ABC Department, based on a very simple format: that of the NEST.
The project aims to function exactly like a NEST, creating a space where the Department’s faculty, together with researchers, PhD students, and students, can develop ideas and transform them into research projects to be submitted to competitive funding calls.
The research project, led by a proposing faculty member, must focus on a specific topic, on which research and research training activities are carried out by multiple people.
In particular, the project seeks to stimulate collaboration with researchers from other countries and to initiate and/or consolidate relationships with universities, laboratories, and research institutions of origin.
