The ENVI-Reg Research Group Observatory for Environmental Regeneration of the ABC Department of the Milan Polytechnic, with the Cultural Association Urban Curator TAT, is promoting a meeting on urban planning and building issues in Milan. The “Milan Model” reveals elements of social crisis and an unbalanced development; with urban regeneration entrusted to real estate dynamics, without a primary role of the municipal administration in the governance of the territory.
A complex picture at the close of a cycle in which transfers and volumetric premiums, procedural streamlining, and contradictory regulatory interpretations have resulted in litigation, interventions by the Judiciary, and disorientation of the municipal offices delegated to assent.
A panel of speakers will address the main issues, focusing on powers and responsibilities, procedures and standards, morphological and environmental quality.
