In 2013 he achieved the Master’s degree in Planning, programming and design of hospital and social-health systems; Master’s thesis title: Knowing how to find. Wayfinding and signage in the healthcare facilities.
Since May 2024, Associate (Assistant) Professor at the ABC Department of the Politecnico di Milano, and researcher at the Design&Health Lab.
Teacher in Technologies for Construction and Environmental Hygiene at the School of Architecture, urban planning and construction engineering (AUIC), for the Building Technology Studio (ENG) and Architectural Construction Laboratory (ITA) courses in the Bachelor Degree program; Architectural Design Laboratory (ITA) in the Master Degree program.
He participates in the activities of the National center for healthcare facilities and hospital technology (CNETO); of the Lombardy Academy for public health (ALSP); of the Working Group on hygiene of the built environment (IAC) of the Italian Society of hygiene and preventive Mmedicine (SItI).
Member of the “Urban Public Health Section” Steering Committee (2018-2024), European Public Health Association (EUPHA).
Speaker in relevant national and international seminars and conferences; author of several scientific publications on the topics of Urban Health, Healthy Buildings and Hospital Design (Scopus 47 papers; H-index 18 and 1143 citations; updated October 2024).
