CON.SI.LAB

It proposes the diffusion of the design culture of the building-civil construction site based upon “on site” applied research, made then available to the scientific, productive and professional community of the construction industry with publications, technical-scientific support and guidance to operators, and training activities based on standardized or specifically designed training paths for companies, manufacturers and public or private clients.

Services

Below are the services offered by the CON.SI.LAB Unit to students, teachers, researchers and businesses.

Optimisation of site sustainability

Technical and scientific support for the development and adoption of construction techniques and equipment for the sustainability of the site phase of a project.

Site health and safety management

Technical and scientific support for the development and implementation of organisational models and safety management personalised to the scale of the business, excluding administrative and criminal liability of the company (Legislative Decrees 231/2001 and 81/2008); support for the development and integration of the Safety and Coordination Plan for the various levels of the design, including using a BIM method.

Management of the monitoring of ongoing work

Technical and scientific support for the development and implementation of a Management System to monitor the ongoing works of the operational plan and the Works Progress Reports using a BIM method, the responsibilities of the Coordinator of work execution, the management of all documentation requirements and the monitoring of the site for the purposes of protecting the workforce (Legislative Decree No. 81/2008). Assistance during ongoing works.

Integrated site design

Technical and scientific support for the development and implementation of methods and tools, including those of a BIM nature, to model manufacturing and site processes, with the development of libraries of machines, equipment and services for the integrated BIM design of the site.

Support for procuring entities in drafting documentation for tenders using BIM methodology

Technical and scientific support in developing an economically advantageous offer with BIM methodology and assistance in the publication and evaluation phases of the tender. Support in drafting tender documents, technical specifications and BIM execution plans.
Implementation of the collaborative contractual forms to optimise the relationships between the parties.
