Lab Unit

Laboratory technician with a background in architecture, holding a degree from the Politecnico di Milano and the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She obtained a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture at PUC and a PhD from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano.

She has specialized expertise in the field of textile architecture. Her research and technical–scientific support activities focus on the study and experimentation of architectural textiles, with particular attention to materials for fog harvesting.

She carries out laboratory activities related to the performance characterization of textile materials, including accelerated aging tests, analysis of hygrothermal behavior, and studies on life cycle, recycling, and reuse of textiles. She is also involved in the analysis and application of different types of textiles in architectural contexts, contributing to the development of innovative and environmentally sustainable design solutions for the built environment.

She participates in projects at both local and international scales and collaborates in the publication of scientific articles for conferences and journals.
