Gola Marco

Tenure Track Researcher at Politecnico di Milano in the field of Public Health. He holds a degree in Architecture and a PhD, with a doctoral thesis focused on indoor air quality in healthcare facilities.
His main expertise lies in healthcare design and healthy buildings.
In 2019, he was selected as one of the young researchers of the Young Academy for Public Health, promoted by the Lombardy Academy of Public Health. In 2023, he joined to the European Talent Academy program promoted by Imperial College London, Politecnico di Milano, and Technical University of Munich.
He has been involved in numerous research projects related to healthcare design and building hygiene and is one of the authors of “Hospitals of the Future: A Technical Brief on Re-thinking the Architecture of Hospitals” for the World Health Organization.
He is the technical manager of the Design&Health Lab, and he is the Secretary-General of the Italian National Center for Hospital Construction and Engineering.
