Fixed-term Researcher (RTDa), their work sits at the intersection of representation, territorial analysis, and digital tools for design and the management of the built environment. National Scientific Qualification (ASN) for appointment as Associate Professor (second-level), disciplinary sector ICAR/17, obtained on 31 May 2021. Earned a PhD in “Surveying, Analysis and Representation of Architecture and the Environment” at Sapienza University of Rome (2008) and was a Research Fellow at Politecnico di Milano (DAStU, 2018–2021), within the Department of Excellence project on territorial fragilities, focusing on mapping fragile landscapes and developing tools and techniques for the analysis and representation of territorial fragilities. His research interests include Digital Twins and BIM with environmental monitoring, digital surveying and modeling for conservation/retrofit, parametric modeling of territory and landscape, slow mobility and accessibility, Machine Learning and Computer Vision applications for landscape, public space and cultural heritage, and critical reflections on generative AI, creativity, and ethical/environmental implications.
