Rossi Corinna

Corinna Rossi is an architect and and Egyptologist. Born in Napoli (Italy) in 1968, she studied architecture at the University Federico II and Egyptology at Cambridge University. At Politecnico di Milano she teaches archaeometry and ethical issues relating to archaeology and Egyptology.

Research

Her research interests include the study of the relationship between architecture and mathematics and the use of three-dimensional modelling in the study of the archaeological remains of objects and buildings. Since 2001 she has been working on the field in the Kharga Oasis, in Egypt’s Western Desert, to the study of a chain of Late Roman fortified settlements never investigated before.
