Lab Unit

Highly specialized second-level technician with university education at the Faculty of Architecture of the Politecnico di Milano. In the academic year 2015/2016, he obtained a PhD in Environmental and Infrastructure Engineering – Geomatics profile – at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the Politecnico di Milano.

As Technical Manager, he is part of the Eidolon Experimental Unit of the ABCLab Laboratory System. His scientific and technical activities include the design and coordination of topographic, photogrammetric, laser scanning, and unmanned aerial system surveys. He specializes in data processing and the creation of reality-based three-dimensional models for the valorization and dissemination of Cultural Heritage.

Since 2014, he has regularly conducted archaeological missions in Egypt in collaboration with Museo Egizio in Turin, the Rijksmuseum van Oudheden in Leiden, and the Institut Français d'Archéologie Orientale in Cairo.

He participates in local and international projects, has authored and co-authored scientific articles for indexed journals and conferences, and participates in social responsibility activities.

For the three-year period 2026-2028, he is the Representative of the Technical-Administrative Staff.
