The construction sector is constantly changing to meet the targets for an emission-free future in Europe. To meet these environmental standards, the construction industry needs a comprehensive support framework. The MEZeroE project introduces an open innovation ecosystem for the development of solutions focusing on carbon neutrality and healthy indoor environments. MEZeroE focuses on: (i) developing nZEB Enabler Envelope technology solutions; (ii) transferring knowledge; (iii) matching testing needs with existing facilities; (iv) providing monitoring in living labs and (v) standardizing cutting-edge solutions coming from SMEs and larger industries, to foster inclusive change in the building sector, being accessible via a single-entry point to all users.

DABC activities
Responsible for pilot measurement and verification activities: characterization of dry multi-layer nEES with respect to health and safety requirements; testing for the complete characterization of building envelope components (thermal, acoustic, and air resistance; accessibility in use; structural performance). Management of BIM-based information flow.
