digITER aims at providing an effective procedure to be adopted for digital managing the building permit process, defining requirements, rules and methods for the application of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and Building Information Modelling (BIM) for the semi-automated check of data during the outline, control, review, and approval processes for the new construction, retrofitting, refurbishment, and renovation of public and private works.
A particular focus is paid in optimising the approval and procurement activities, but also the life-cycle management by PA.
Objectives
digITER is going to achieve the following objectives: 1. schematisation of semi-automatic checking procedures for validation purposes in a BIM-enabled ecosystem; 2. schematisation and possible workflow reengineering for tenders’ management; 3. standardisation of the DBP use case in terms of protocols for rule checking and building model preparation; 4. definition of the framework of a Common Data Environment (CDE) to manage the DBP use case.
