With a PhD from the ABC Department of the Polytechnic University of Milan, he is the technical manager of the BIMGroup Laboratory, which supports research, teaching, and the development of digital processes for the built environment. He coordinates the surveying, updating, and management of BIM models, overseeing data standardization, organization, and interoperability (BIM/GIS workflows, Scan-to-BIM). He contributes to teaching in the BIM and geomatics fields and is the author and co-author of publications on BIM/GIS integration, infrastructure asset management (particularly railways), HBIM for cultural heritage, and studies on urban dynamics and accessibility to services.
