Daglio Laura
Associate Professor
Associate Professor of Technological and Environmental Design of Architecture at the AUIC School of Architecture, Urban Planning and Construction Engineering and at the School of Design of Politecnico di Milano. Her research focuses on two main areas: environmental design and sustainability at the architectural and urban scale, with particular attention to the adoption of circular design principles and to a renewed relationship with natural resources (vegetation, water); techno-typological studies on adaptability in new construction projects and in the regeneration of public and private building stock. She participates in research programmes funded through competitive national and international calls. She has developed specific expertise in the organisation and scientific coordination of architecture exhibitions in Italy and abroad. She has presented the results of her research at international conferences and seminars, both as an invited speaker and through the publication of peer-reviewed contributions. A member of international scientific and editorial committees, she is the author of more than 150 scientific publications. She is the technical coordinator of the OFFLAB HARD – CirceDC laboratory, which develops consultancy and experimental activities on issues of adaptability and disassemblability in architectural design.
