
Torrieri Francesca
Associate Professor
Associate Professor (full-time) at the Department of Architecture, Built Environment and Construction Engineering of the Politecnico di Milano, in the Scientific Disciplinary Sector CEAR-03/C – Appraisal and Valuation. She holds a Degree in Architecture (University of Naples “Federico II”, 1998).
She obtained a PhD in “Evaluation Methods for the Integrated Conservation of Urban and Architectural Environmental Heritage” (University of Naples “Federico II”, 2004). Since 2006, she has been teaching courses in Real Estate Economics and Appraisal, as well as Economic and Environmental Evaluation of Projects, mainly within the Degree Programs in Civil and Environmental Engineering and Building Engineering–Architecture at the University of Naples “Federico II” and at the Politecnico di Milano. In the academic year 2015–2016, she was a Visiting Researcher at the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies (DASTU) of the Politecnico di Milano. Since October 2022, she has held a joint appointment position pursuant to Art. 6, paragraph 11, of Law 240/2010 and Ministerial Decrees of 26/04/2011 no. 167 and 30/01/2014, between the University of Naples “Federico II” and the Politecnico di Milano.
She serves as a court-appointed expert and consultant for public authorities and private companies on matters related to real estate appraisal, damage assessment, and the economic and financial feasibility evaluation of plans and projects.Her scientific activity focuses on the following research areas: economic and financial sustainability assessment of plans and projects; evaluation of public and private feasibility of urban transformations; economic valuation of environmental and cultural assets; real estate appraisal.
