Dapra' Francesca

Francesca Daprà (Milan, 1989), Architect and PhD, is a Researcher at the ABC Department of the Politecnico di Milano. She conducts research and training in the field of Technological Design, focusing on processes, methods, and tools for the physical and social regeneration and enhancement of the built environment. Specifically, her research focuses on innovative and sustainable strategies within the design, transformation, and reuse of structures, infrastructures, and community spaces, including religious buildings, railway facilities, and spa towns, with a particular focus on Italy. She has participated in conferences, seminars, and workshops on these topics, as well as contributed to studies and publications. Since 2023, she has taught Technological Design in the Laboratorio di Costruzione dell’Architettura at the AUIC School of the Politecnico di Milano during the undergraduate degree program.

Main research areas: religious and ecclesiastical heritage, urban regeneration and public space, heritage and spa towns, railway infrastructure and stations, social regeneration and adaptive reuse.
