Bricolo Filippo

Associate Professor

Filippo Bricolo is an architect and professor at the Department of Architecture, Construction Engineering, and the Built Environment at the Polytechnic University of Milan. An architect and PhD, he founded the Bricolo Falsarella studio, with which he has created architectural projects that have received awards and honors and have been published in leading trade magazines such as Casabella, Abitare, and others. In 2024, at Kunst Meran Merano Arte, he curated the exhibition/catalog "Recent Architecture in Alto Adige 2018-2014" (Park Books catalog) and in 2025, the exhibition "Alps Architecture South Tyrol" at Palazzo Cavanis during the Venice Architecture Biennale. He has carried out numerous exhibition and museum design projects, including the restoration of the East Wing of the Castelvecchio Museum in Verona, left unfinished by Carlo Scarpa, the layout of the spaces of the Casa del Mantegna (Mantovarchitettura), and the traveling exhibition Nuove Cantine Italiane, Territori e Architetture for Casabella.

Degree in Architecture from the IUAV University of Venice (110/110 cum laude).

PhD in Architectural Composition from the IUAV University of Venice (with mention of publication).
