
Allegri Davide
Researcher
Davide Allegri (1974) Architect, graduated with honors at the Polytechnic University of Milan in 2002. In 2009 got the Ph.D. in Design and Technologies for the Enhancement of Cultural Heritage and in 2016 (2 years post-Ph.D.) the Specialization in Architectural and Landscape Heritage. In 2009 he published the book “Renzo Zavanella 1900-1988. Architecture Design Technology” on the complete works of one of the Masters of the XIX Milanese School. From 2016 to 2019 he was the project leader of the group that supported the FIGC and UEFA for EURO-U21 (2019). From 2020 to 2021, he coordinated the research group for the "Safe Standing" project for UEFA. Since 2022 (ongoing) and the research group supporting EURO-2032. Since 2017 (ongoing), he has been the teaching and scientific coordinator of the International Master's Degree in Sport Design and Management organized by the Politecnico di Milano and the Master School of Management (GSOM-POLIMI). Since 2023, he has been a member of the “Commissione di 2 Grado UEFA”. He is the author of several essays and articles published in leading national and international journals. He currently carries out design and research activities with reference to technological innovation, evolution, redevelopment, and enhancement of sports infrastructures. He is the author of "Generational Theory" applied to the technical and technological evolution of sports infrastructures. He is a speaker at international conferences on these topics. He is a Full-Researcher at the Department of Architecture, Construction Engineering and Built Environment and a Professor of the Architectural Construction Laboratory at the School of Architecture, Urban Planning and Construction Engineering (A.U.I.C.) of the Polytechnic University of Milan.
