
Cuca Branka
Associate Professor
Branka Cuca, born in Belgrade, is an Associate Professor with more than 15 years of experience at international level, currently working at Politecnico di Milano. She works in domain of geomatics, in particular mapping and monitoring of built environment within a larger GIS and geospatial data framework. Cuca has taught and worked in research domain in Italy (Politecnico di Milano), Belgium (K.U.Leuven) and Cyprus (Cyprus University of Technology). She has been involved and is currently active in a series of international projects in Italy, Serbia, Albania, Belgium, and Cyprus, collaborating with numerous universities in Europe. During the period 2013-2019 Cuca acted as co-chair of the Earth Observation/Copernicus working group of the European NEREUS network (Network of European Regions Using Space Technologies). She is a proud mom of two girls.

Branka Cuca conducts research activities in domain of geomatics for built environment employing the use of terrestrial survey and documentation, Earth Observation data and (open) geospatial information. She works in domain of recording and monitoring of built Cultural Heritage.
