Towards a macroeconomic world with territorial foundations

Roberta Capello (Principal Investigator), Giovanni Perrucca, Silvia Cerisola, Alessandro Toppeta, Elisa Panzera, Barbara Chizzolini

The project is part of the CARIPLO calls for applications to improve the ERC applications submitted in the previous round that achieved a high score, slightly below the funding allocation threshold. The project focused on strengthening the proposal for the construction of a new generation of the MASST (MAcroeconomic, Sectoral, Social, Territorial) Model, first built in 2006 under the coordination of the Principal Investigator. In particular, the project presented the main critical issues in strengthening the territorial side of the project, which in its future version will above all have to take into consideration the vast technological transformations that are taking place at a global level under the label of the “Industry 4.0” paradigm.
