The project aims at establishing a comprehensive methodology for the design of efficient digitalized integrated platforms for a responsible monitoring and conservation of the “state of health” of important infrastructures, such as bridges, which are nowadays reaching their design life-span, bringing then down pressing queries of structural safety, efficiency and present load-carrying capacity. This project seeks developing an integrated description approach, considering a multiplicity of research targets, including: assessment of the current structural condition; development of consistent modelling approaches; model updating based on in-situ measuring via algorithmic identification techniques; damage evaluation and exploitation of predictive approaches for the whole life-cycle management, founded on Common Data Environment (CDE) digitalized frameworks.
