Angela Silvia Pavesi (Principal Investigator)
The main objective of the FAMI 3477 Living Together project is to develop an inter-agency model for managing migration in the Satellite district of Pioltello, with the aim of taking simultaneous action through an interdisciplinary approach across various areas related to housing difficulties, promoting empowerment and implementing initiatives for active citizenship.
Living Together is based on harnessing the capabilities of staff at Pioltello Town Council and on the importance of establishing systematic and lasting collaboration between the public and private social sectors to devise, co-create and trial an integrated system of welfare services in the Satellite neighbourhood for citizens with a migrant background. These services have been conceived as a genuine social infrastructure capable of bringing together the three dimensions that restore dignity to people: housing, work and active participation in full citizenship.
