WINTER SPORTS TECH is an event promoted by the Politecnico di Milano dedicated to technological innovation applied to winter sports, in dialogue with the run-up to the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games. The initiative explores the contribution of scientific research and design to the development of new technologies for athletic performance, sustainability, inclusion, and the design of sports facilities.
The meeting involves teachers, researchers, and athletes in a multidisciplinary discussion that combines engineering, architecture, robotics, and sports science, highlighting the role of the university as a cultural and innovation driver for the region and for the future of winter sports.
The ABC Department will participate in the initiative with PANEL 4, titled "From Facility Design to Olympic Legacy", which will feature the following presentations:
