Il Futuro è nella Storia. Dedicated to Federico Bucci

It is still possible to visit the exhibition “Il Futuro è nella Storia. Dedicato a Federico Bucci” (The Future is in History. Dedicated to Federico Bucci), which celebrates the work and intellectual legacy of Federico Bucci, a scholar, critic, and teacher who was able to uniquely intertwine historical memory and contemporary research.

Alongside a selection of the best entries in the Il Futuro nella Storia Degree Award—which collected over 300 master's theses, highlighting the most significant ones—the exhibition traces Federico Bucci's academic and scientific career, highlighting the common thread that guided his research: the inseparable intertwining of history and contemporaneity.

“To understand the architecture of the present, Bucci has always engaged in dialogue with history; and to interpret the past, he has observed it with contemporary eyes.” A journey that recounts his vision, capable of transforming the study of architecture into an act that is both poetic and rigorous.
