ICSA 2027 – 7th International Conference on Structures and Architecture
From July 5 to 9, 2027, Politecnico di Milano will host the 7th edition of the International Conference on Structures and Architecture (ICSA 2027), one of the leading international events dedicated to the dialogue between structural engineering and architectural design.
Organized by the International Association of Structures and Architecture, the conference represents a global meeting point for researchers, professionals, academics, and innovators, aiming to share knowledge, experiences, and perspectives on the future of the built environment.
Theme 2027: Circular+
The theme of this edition, “Circular+”, focuses on rethinking the relationship between architecture and structures through a sustainable and regenerative approach. The conference encourages the exploration of design strategies that integrate:
- circular economy principles
- regenerative approaches
- life cycle thinking
with the goal of addressing current environmental, social, and economic challenges while contributing to a more sustainable built environment.
