Giornata di Studio “at. Ctrl+build, crossing boundaries”

Our Department is organizing the Giornata di Studio “at. Ctrl+build, crossing boundaries”, curated by Prof. Tiziana Poli, which will be held on January 16, 2026 at the Politecnico di Milano.

The initiative is part of the Milano 2026 – Ar.Tec. @ Politecnico di Milano program, promoted by the Ar.Tec. Scientific Society, and aims to provide a structured space for discussion on topics related to scientific research in Technical Architecture, bringing together experiences, methods, and tools developed at national and international levels.

With contributions from professors and researchers from numerous Italian universities, the Study Day intends to highlight the role of Technical Architecture in contemporary research, promoting dialogue between universities, institutions, and the industry, and encouraging the overcoming of traditional disciplinary boundaries.

During the day, the event will be organized into thematic sessions focused on competitive research, research valorization, and interdisciplinary and innovative approaches supported by institutional programs and tools, complemented by discussion and interaction with representatives from academia and industry.

The event is promoted by the DABC with the involvement of the University Governance, the Ar.Tec. Scientific Society, and representatives from the industrial sector, and is aimed at professors, researchers, PhD students, and scholars interested in innovation in the design and construction of the built environment.
