Empowering Cultural Heritage through Innovation and Multidisciplinarity

Last September, the final event of the ENGINEER project, funded by the WIDERA Twinning – Horizon Europe program, took place at the #POED center in Nicosia.

The project was recognized by all partners as an effective tool for building solid research collaborations.

During the event, Prof. Branka Cuca (DABC) moderated a round table discussion with Dr. Athos Agapiou, Prof. Dina D'Ayala, Prof. Nicola Masini, and Dr. Marinos Ioannides, dedicated to topics such as climate change, the digitization of built heritage, the use of artificial intelligence in cultural heritage (#AIforHeritage), and future challenges in the sector.

Based on the recommendations that emerged, the consortium reaffirmed its commitment to innovation and multidisciplinarity in the protection of cultural heritage, presenting the Call-to-Action “Empowering Cultural Heritage through Innovation and Multidisciplinarity.”
