“E per gioco progetto!” at Campus Leonardo

On 25 February 2026, the Politecnico di Milano will open Campus Leonardo to two primary school classes from the Istituto Comprensivo Statale Bruno Munari for a morning dedicated to environmental sustainability through play, exploration, and discovery.

The initiative is part of the project “Scuola di architettura sostenibile per bambini”, conceived by Linda Poletti with scientific responsibility by Ilaria Oberti (Department ABC), promoted by the Centro Studi Circolo Caldara with the support of Fondazione Comunità Milano and Fondazione AEM - Gruppo A2A.

An open-air sustainability lab for children

The aim of the day is to introduce children to the themes of sustainable architecture and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), showing how even everyday choices can impact the well-being of communities.

The programme includes:

  • activities and games on water, waste sorting, and sustainable mobility;
  • a guided exploration of Campus Leonardo among fountains, bike stations, and electric charging points;
  • a final moment of discussion on what has been learned.

Through experiments, micro-explorations, and interactive activities, the campus becomes an open-air laboratory where design turns into an educational tool and an opportunity to promote responsible lifestyles.
