On the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the death of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, the AUIC School organized an international exhibition and conference on the relationship between architecture and the construction of the city.
The exhibition presented a selection of emblematic works by Mies van der Rohe through models, original documents and materials created for the occasion.
The goal was to highlight the evolution of his theoretical and design thinking, often overlooked in urban aspects in favor of a critical focus on individual architectural elements.
Prototyping
A model of a portion of the city of Berlin was created, highlighting, in red, three buildings designed by the architect. The model was created through 3D printing (WASP 40x70) of different blocks of the city, you can join together to complete the model.
