The lecture explored the concept of reactive space, understood as an environment capable of adapting to changing needs over time through strategies based on flexibility, reversibility, and technological integration.

Drawing on case studies and design applications, it presented methodologies for the refurbishment of residential buildings that combine spatial quality, environmental sustainability, and functional adaptability to address the challenges of the ecological transition and the transformation of the existing built environment.
