The lecture presented the research pathway that led to the development of the cHOMgenius prototype, illustrating the reuse of decommissioned shipping containers as a resource for creating high-performance, adaptable, and easily transformable living spaces. Through the analysis of the adopted technological solutions, the presentation explored design for assembly, construction reversibility, prefabrication, and strategies for reducing environmental impacts throughout the building's life cycle.
