Compliance of construction products with environmental compatibility criteria (CCA - Criteri di Compatibilità Ambientale)

2002-Today

The issue of an Environmental Compatibility Criteria (CCA) Compliance certificate for construction products and furnishings.
Unique to the CCA is the importance attributed to the risk of pollution in indoor environments and the potential impact on the health of intermediate users (manufacturing staff, installers) and end users. For this reason, the assessment process for issuing the certificate involves an analysis of the product in use, with a qualitative and quantitative evaluation of factors such as the content and release or pollutants of a chemical nature, the development of pollutants of a microbiological nature and the release of dust, fibres or radioactive particles, in addition to a qualitative evaluation of parameters such as the consumption of natural resources, energy saving and waste production.
