Lenzi Camilla

Camilla is full professor of regional and urban economics and joined Politecnico in 2009. She has published more than 90 articles in peer reviewed journals and edited volumes and authored 5 books. She participated in numerous research projects at the European, national and regional scale, both as principal investigator and as team member.

Career

PhD in Economics, Università degli Studi di Pavia.

Master of Science in Industry and Innovation Analysis, SPRU, University of Sussex.

Degree (MA equivalent) in Economic and Social Sciences, Università Bocconi.

Research

Camilla's main research focuses on the analysis of technological transformations, including AI and platforms, socio-economic inequalities and individual wellbeing from a territorial perspective.

Camilla served as executive director of AISRe (Associazione Italiana di Scienze Regionali; 2022-25) and she is councilor of the Regional Science Association International (RSAI; 2021-2026) and of the European Regional Science Association (ERSA; 2024-26). She is Associate Editor of the Annals of Regional Science and in the editorial board of Papers in Regional Science.
