Master Degree in Civil Engineering (1998) and PhD in Structural Engineering (2003) at Politecnico di Milano. Researcher since 2003 and Assistant Professor since 2008 at DIS and ABC Dept. of Politecnico di Milano.
Teaching activities: “Theory and Design of Buildings and Structures” at the Civil Architecture School, “Finite element modelling” at the Master School F.lli Pesenti.
Participation to the management and technical activities of the Anchors division of the Testing Materials Laboratory.
Research topics: mechanical behavior of carbon and stainless reinforcing steel for concrete structures; static and seismic behavior of anchors for concrete or masonry; structural rehabilitation of existing buildings; wind loading effects on high rise buildings; impact loading on structures; seismic behavior of bridges.
