ICAR/22 - Real estate appraisal

He performs teaching and research activities within the real estate appraisal and valuation context.

He was the Scientific Coordinator of the Association for the Study and the Information on Local Real Estate Markets from 2000 to 2015.  In 2013, he participated in the Bank of Italy’s Appraisers Execution Support for the performance of the Asset Quality Review (ECB) on real estate collaterals and, in 2005, he was the Transnational Coordinator for the economic and financial axis of the Interreg Project C.V.T. – Centers for Territorial Valuation.

Within his activity in Polytechnic of Milan, he is also responsible for providing services for third parties, with specific reference to the drafting of valuations for Public Institutions and privately owned companies.

He has recently focused his researching efforts on the application of standardized valuations within the real estate context, specifically aimed at the prevention and the management of the credit risk.

He is the author of a number of publications on the appraisal of buildings, plans and projects. Alongside his academic commitment, he performs his professional activity transferring, technologically, his research work towards the operative practice.
